These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Testers.dev and the Google Play testing service provided by Testers.dev (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated as a sole trader. By registering an account or purchasing our service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Testers.dev provides a Google Play closed testing service. For a one-time fee of $50 USD, we assign 25 verified testers to your Google Play closed testing track for a period of 14 days. This service is designed to satisfy Google Play’s requirement for 20 opt-in testers over 14 consecutive days, which is necessary to unlock access to production distribution.

2. Eligibility & Requirements

To use our service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or have the authority to act on behalf of a business.
  • Have an active Google Play Developer account.
  • Have a valid app with a closed testing track set up in Google Play Console.
  • Add our Google Group (testers-dev1@googlegroups.com) to your closed testing track’s tester list before or immediately after payment.
  • Provide a valid public join URL for your closed testing track.

3. Payment

Payment is processed securely via PayPal. By completing payment, you authorise a charge of $50 USD. All prices are in US Dollars. Payment must be received in full before testing begins.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Correctly adding our Google Group or individual tester emails to your closed testing track.
  • Keeping your app available and downloadable throughout the 14-day testing period.
  • Providing accurate app submission details (app name, package name, testing URL).
  • Ensuring your app complies with all Google Play Developer Programme Policies.

We are not responsible for delays or failed testing caused by incorrect setup on your part, app removal, or changes to your testing track during the testing period.

5. Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. We offer a 100% Production Access Guarantee: if our 25 testers complete the full 14-day testing cycle and Google still does not grant your app production access as a result of insufficient testing, we will issue a full refund.

6. No Guarantee of Google Approval

We guarantee that our testers will opt in and participate in your testing track. We do not guarantee that Google will approve your app for production distribution, as Google’s review decisions are made independently and may take into account factors beyond testing compliance (e.g. policy violations, content quality).

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use our service to test apps that:

  • Violate Google Play Developer Programme Policies.
  • Contain malware, spyware, or any harmful code.
  • Facilitate illegal activity.

We reserve the right to refuse service and issue a refund at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, and branding, is the property of Testers.dev. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Testers.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service ($50 USD).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
